Friday Relaxation

Today has flown by with a speed that almost stuns the mind. I got up and got to work as usual. For the first few hours everything was pretty standard and I got a great deal done. In fact things were going well enough that by 9AM I deiced to take a break and go for a short walk.

It's amazing how much beauty you can see around here in 20 minutes or so. Either way, after I got back the day seemed to evaporate. I did a bit more work then hopped on Civ 5. I have to admit that the more I play the more ideas I get. (Mainly about the Graphic User Interface or GUI, but every little bit helps, lol.) I got stopped a time or two and before I knew it the kids were wanting to go to the sea. It turned out to be around 3PM, so I figured we might as well take them. I also decided I might as well take a load of pictures.

Basically as soon as we got home Isaac fell asleep. He was acting crazy tired before we left, so it was really no surprise.

Tomorrow I've got more work to get done, but a majority of the day is going to be spent gaming. (At least if I can help it.)

Moving on to good news that we have to share: I got a rough draft of the lease for the house in Pont Casse today. They need to make a few minor changes, but I hope to be able to sign it early next week. Mr. Armstrong (the owner of the house) also said that the current tenants planned to be out ASAP. They are allowed to take two months, but it looks like they're not going to.

On top of that Rachel was browsing through the classified ads today and found a car for EC$5000.00. Something like that could be a good starter car for us here. I want a vehicle, but I don't intend to take out a loan to get one.

One way or the other the Lord is leading us on. I plan to look into residency and a bank account next week. Anyways, It's late and as you can see I had a lot of pictures to upload. So, goodnight from Dominica!

  2. No need to be jealous, just come down here for a visit, lol.

Do keep us in your prayers. I think we'll really enjoy that other house.
