March of Progress

Today was another day of great progress, not only for me, but for the entire dev team. We're suppose to have the demo ready for Gamescom next Tuesday (I believe) and everyone is working hard to see it done. I spent close to eight hours today putting together preliminary numbers for most of the military units that are actually going to make it into the demo. The rest of the team was working on the world map, the battle map, spell effects, etc. It's been a busy day for everyone.

Rachel also got a fair amount of work done today. She's been cleaning like crazy. As usual she's turning the house we live in into a home. She had me come down stairs to try to fix a leaky sink at one point. I think I got it fixed, so that's good. Gabriel and Alec cooked breakfast again this morning. They made pancakes and they were delicious. The boys seem to have a real talent for it, lol.

During my lunch break I decided to try to walk to the roundabout just down the road. I took pictures along the way.

It's hard to tell, but those are pine trees. I mean real, honest, literal, pine trees. It made me smile to see them. They remind me of back home.

That's a pretty little flower that grows around here. It's similar to some in Sourfriere, but they're not quite the same.

Obviously I made it to the roundabout. :)

Later in the day Abby and I took a few pictures around the house. Mainly for grandparents. They like to see what the kids do in a tropical paradise. Well, they like to lay around playing on computers... go figure...

Just before quitting time Caleb and I went for a short walk. I only took one picture.

Anyways, it's been a long day and it's about time for me to watch a little TV. So, for the moment at least, goodnight from Dominica!

    1. I would have been the same way I imagine, lol. They love to get out, but they love to sit there playing on the computers as well.
