Today we kicked off our second Kickstarter campaign for Worlds of Magic. We want to raise extra money to enhance the graphics and special effects. The game itself is really going to be great in my opinion. The fact is, however, without good graphics most people won't notice. We want to game to be a smash hit and that means high quality art.
Anyway, today's post is going to be a short one. I'm exhausted. I thought I had everything planned out to make this launch completely painless. However, I almost completely overlooked the website. I had to update most of the pages for the site in a number of different languages. It took me hours. Not that it's difficult work, but I keep having to stop to reply to comments or something else. It been a very busy, very distracting day. I'm ready to go to bed now and I still have to be “at the helm” for a few more hours.
Not that I'm complaining at all. Busy is good. Busy is really good. In fact at this point the project hasn't been live for five hours and we've reached almost half our base goal. Lord willing this will keep up and we'll get the funding we need to make WoM something really special. Either way, I'm going to go now. Wish me luck. It's going to be a busy night.
