Getting Some Rest

Today things slowed down a bit. That's got good points and bad. The Kickstarter is still raising more and more, but I had less “fan interaction” than I've had since we launched the second campaign. There's still loads to do obviously, by I managed to get ahead enough to just tread water and relax a bit. I watched a few of my favorite DVDs while playing SWTOR between answering e-mails and forums posts. I have an interview to do tomorrow morning. We're hoping it's going to bring some attention to the project. Lord willing it will open up another pocket of backers for us. We're doing very well, but we could always stand to do a little better.

I did spend a few minutes looking for a publisher again this morning, but I didn't have a great deal of luck. I decided to shift my strategy and look for more lists of publishers in stead. I only spent a moment on that this morning, but it looks like that's going to be a bit more successful. I can really only spend a few minutes on it tomorrow (if that) before I need to pack up my computer and head to Mom Y's. I love my children very much, but I don't fancy trying to do an interview here will all the kids. As hard as it is to believe, the man interviewing me also has seven children and works from home. He's the only other person I've ever met that that's true of. (← “That that's”... English is a weird language. I try never to write things like that. I just left it in this time because I never do normally...)

So... I'm feeling really lazy at the moment. Dinner will be done in a few minutes (we're having roast again) and I want to go watch more River Monsters. I have to be “on call” until I go to bed of course, but I can still watch TV for half an hour or so between e-mail checks. Oh, and I should mention that Ben's mother board came and he is back to computing. He mainly installed it himself. I did a few things to save him some time, but in the main he handled it.

Anyways, I'm done for now. So, goodnight from South Carolina!

  1. Felicity and Caleb look very serious in picture there. I would like to see all the kids who have skeleton shirts in a photo wearing them. Titus too. I think Felicity;s is so cute cause it is pink and the bones are lace. cute cute cute...Btw the girls room looks as good as Libbys in the photo.

    1. I'll have to try to get pictures of them in their Halloween shirts. Then everyone can see what Granny got them, lol.

  2. Spike is a Labradoodle (if that's how you spell it). It's part Lab part Poodle. It's kind of a new breed.

And, yes, dragon flies are very common :)
