You're In The Groove Jackson
Work went well today. In fact it went very well. There's a LOT to do, but I made real progress today, thank the Lord. I have so many things I need to work on that I'm having to come up with a work routine to fit everything in that I need to do in the time allotted. I can't just sit there programming for five or six hours at a stretch.
And I'm not the only one getting into a new routine. The boys are as well. Gabriel is now our Kool Aid chef and Alec is Master Dish Washer. Ben is learning to bake bread and handles things like “Isaac needs a diaper”. Part of the new routine is going with me when I walk, which they did today (without Ben, obviously). We took our cameras with us and got some interesting pictures. However, before I show you those I have to show you this:
You have to watch hermit crabs every minute. They're fast and can climb almost as well as spiders...
Now, on to the walk pictures.
That butterfly was hardly “people shy” at all. I got right up on it before I took the picture :)
I don't know what those fruits were, but I think those other plants were peanuts... They will grow around here you know... Mom, you can ask Dad what he thinks...
That lizard was a little more shy. As soon as I headed in for a close up he headed out.
The boys got a little over heated and Abigail had trouble keeping up. I had to carry her a pretty good ways on my shoulders.
The snail wasn't fast enough to escape the camera, lol.
For a lot of the trip back I had Abby on my shoulders so I didn't feel up to taking more pictures. Here are some Gabriel took.
I jumped on coding as soon as we got home (which is what I am now doing in the afternoon) and Rachel took some pictures of the yard dogs taking shelter from the rain.
A little after 2PM we headed for the Sea where Alec caught a baby horse shoe crab.
Obviously we took the underwater camera with us as well.
I hope you enjoyed tonight's blog. I started it early and want to end it early. So, good night from Dominica!

Loved all the pics. I'm looking forward to "the opening of the barrel" tomorrow. Glad the boys are settling in so well. Love you all!
