Better And Better

I slept very well last night, thank the Lord. I woke up late, but a little less tired and a little less sick than I had gone to bed. I brushed my teeth, grabbed my coffee, and jumped on my work. My e-mail alone took almost two hours, but then things sped up a bit. I was done with my forums work at around 11AM (although I only did the minimum I need to in order to tread water really) and I got a fair amount of coding done before the end of the day. I still think I'll have damage reduction worked in by the end of the week. Then I plan to add damage immunity/vulnerability.

Either way, I skipped my walk today and I may tomorrow. I've just got so much work to do and I'm still rather drained. This weekend is going to be a lot busier than normal and I think Sunday is more likely to wear me out than rest me up. We all sat around computing until early afternoon.

The above video is one Alec made last night. He wanted me to stick it in the blog somewhere. I figured that was as good a place as any.

When it was time to head to the sea Felicity spotted a huge grasshopper on the wall. I got a picture of it before we headed out.

Again I took a number of underwater pictures. I even got a few good ones of an eel that was over two feet long (by my estimations anyway, lol.)

I also finally got that video put together. It's not much, but it's a start :)

That's it for this evening. I want to get the “doing nothing” part of my night started. So, in order to facilitate that I'm going to go ahead and wrap up. Goodnight from Dominica!

  1. Loved the video. I tell you, it makes me want a very expensive video recorder/camera. You KNOW how I am----hahaha. Hope you get some much needed rest tonight.

    Love you all,
    Mom E.

    1. I slept very well, the the Lord :)

Remember, getting down here to see things yourself is more important than having a camera when you come, lol.

  2. I love the fish, especially the colorful ones; however, you can keep the eel!!

    1. The pictures really don't do them justice. One day I hope to have a better camera that can capture their colors a little better.

I kept my distance from the eel and took photos from afar, lol.
