A Time To Blog

There's a time for everything in life including a time to blog. Sadly I forgot this truth and left my camera sitting on top of the computer all day. So, I don't really have any pictures of what I did today, not that any of it would really be photo worthy anyway. I mean, not many people would be interested in photos of me sitting and typing and that's what I did with most of my morning.


I'm glad to say that I'm making progress. I expect that the work I need to do over next weekend will really be minimal. Of course, there really is still a lot to do. It's amazing how much can slip through the cracks in you mind if you let it. I had one big thing I wanted to get done this week. So far I've failed to get it done, lol. Still, tomorrow is another day.


I've been working enough that I am going to have to find some time to relax. In fact I think I'm going to start playing Star Wars The Old Republic again. It really relaxes me. Games have been a part of my work for a long time, but now it's hard for me just to play. I keep thinking about the mechanics behind the game and what makes it tick. My play time has become work time. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. If there's one thing you can't be as a game developer it's “dull”. So, I've got to find something to play.


Moving on: I got the taxes for Console Classix mailed off today. I ended up owing a lot more than I had hoped. I'm going to have to find a way to get them paid. More than likely it's going to be another “payment plan” situation that drags out for months. Oh well, the Lord will work it out.


We finally managed to get Abby a couple of mice today. She is ecstatic! Ben is also very pleased because we got his computer put in a case last night, so he's back up and playing.

Anyways, I'm worn down and hungry so I'm going to go find a bite to eat. Goodnight from South Carolina!
